Approximately 2 cords of wood, ideal for those who rely heavily on wood for heating or large-scale operations. A cord is approximately a 4’x4’x8′ stack.
Seasoned firewood has been dried for a period, usually six months to a year, to reduce its moisture content. This results in better burning efficiency, less smoke, and more heat output.
Store your firewood in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably off the ground and covered to protect it from rain and snow. Proper storage helps maintain the wood’s quality and burning efficiency.
The size of firewood you need depends on the dimensions of your fireplace or wood stove. Measure the width and depth of your firebox to determine the maximum length of wood it can accommodate.
Standard firewood is usually 16 inches long, which fits most fireplaces and stoves. If you have a smaller or larger unit, adjust the length accordingly. Additionally, consider the amount of wood you’ll need based on your usage and storage capacity. If you’re unsure, our customer service team can help you determine the best size for your needs.
When it comes to firewood, the standard lengths generally cater to various fireplace and wood stove sizes.
We sell our firewood in 16″ – 23″ to cater to most fireplaces and stoves. However, we can cut it to size by request.
